3 AFSB, or No. 3 Air Force Selection Board, conducts the five-day officer-selection process under the South-Western Air Command in Sector 9, Gandhinagar. Inaugurated on October 8, 2012, it serves candidates from western India, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana and Gujarat, eliminating long travel to other centers
